# AI assistants

Coding assistants often guess at a library's API. ngx-virtual-dnd provides two sources they can read instead.

## Agent skill

The **ngx-virtual-dnd** skill teaches an assistant how to integrate the library. It covers setup, the [rules that fail silently](https://gultyayev.github.io/ngx-virtual-dnd/guide/essentials/core-concepts.md#rules-that-fail-silently), recipes and the full API reference. Install it into your project:

```bash
npx skills add gultyayev/ngx-virtual-dnd
```

It works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot and [more than 40 other agents](https://skills.sh). The assistant loads the skill when a task involves the library, for example "make this list sortable" or "let tasks move between these columns".

The skill's source is in the repository under [`skills/ngx-virtual-dnd`](https://github.com/gultyayev/ngx-virtual-dnd/tree/master/skills/ngx-virtual-dnd).

## llms.txt

This site is also published as Markdown for language models:

| URL                                                                           | Contents                                 |
| ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- |
| [`/llms.txt`](https://gultyayev.github.io/ngx-virtual-dnd/llms.txt)           | Index of every page with a short summary |
| [`/llms-full.txt`](https://gultyayev.github.io/ngx-virtual-dnd/llms-full.txt) | The whole site in one file |
| `<page>.md`                                                                   | Any single page as Markdown              |

Paste one of these URLs into a chat, or point a tool at it. On every page, the outline sidebar also has buttons to copy the page as Markdown or open it in Claude or ChatGPT.

## Example prompt

> Using ngx-virtual-dnd, turn the task list in `tasks.component.ts` into a sortable list that can hold 5,000 items. Keep the existing task template and persist the new order with `TasksService.reorder()`.
